The original garden was on two levels, but the retaining walls and steps had started to crumble. The garden shed and clothes line dominated the garden, and the space available was not used to the best advantage.
We turned the shed through 90 degrees, and colour matched it in forest green with fencing panels used as a decorative screen. New garden retaining walls and steps were built, allowing the clothes line to be centrally placed in the newly grassed areas.
These photos show some of the new plantings, whilst existing plants have also been repositioned.
The paving in front of the patio windows had become uneven and needed to be replaced.
It has been replaced with a warm sandstone paving. Instant colour has been achieved with flower tubs and the area has now been further developed with seating, parasol and barbecue.
